Terms & Booking Information 


By booking an appointment with Susan’s Nails Peterborough, you agree to the following:


Appointments & Booking


To book, please contact me via message.


A non-refundable deposit is required for new clients to secure your appointment.

This is paid via bank transfer and will be deducted from your final total.


Infills


Infills are recommended within 3–4 weeks.


Appointments at 5 weeks will incur an additional charge.


Anything 6 weeks or over will be treated as a new set and charged accordingly.


Infills from Other Nail Techs


If you are coming from another salon, I may not be able to infill your current nails.


This depends on:


- the product used
- the condition of your nails
- how the previous set was applied


After assessing your nails, I may recommend:
- a full removal and new set
- or removal only (without reapplication)


This is always done with the health of your natural nails in mind.


Nail Art


Simple nail art (1 feature nail per hand) is included.


More detailed designs, multiple nails, or intricate work must be discussed before your appointment and may cost extra depending on time and complexity.


Late Arrivals


Please arrive on time for your appointment.


If you are more than 10–15 minutes late, I may need to:
- adjust your service (for example, less nail art)
- or reschedule your appointment


This is to avoid running late for the next client.


Cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations ( 24 hours’ notice or less) or will be charged at 50% of the appointment cost.


No-Shows

If you miss your appointment without notice, your deposit (if you paid) will be lost and future bookings may require full payment in advance.


Repairs


If you experience any issues with your nails within 48 hours, please contact me and I will fix it.


After this time, repairs will be chargeable.


Design Changes


If you would like to change your design on the day, I will always do my best to accommodate it.
However, this may not always be possible depending on time, and additional charges may apply.


Payment


Payment is due at the end of your appointment.


I currently accept cash or bank transfer.


Card payments are not available.


Aftercare


The longevity of your nails also depends on proper aftercare.


Advice will be given during your appointment, and following this will help maintain your nails for as long as possible.


Liability


While every care is taken during your appointment, I cannot be held responsible for any issues caused by:
- incorrect aftercare
- damage after leaving the salon
- or circumstances outside of my control


Health & Safety


Please inform me before your appointment if you have:
- allergies
- sensitivities
- any nail conditions
- or if you are feeling unwell


If you are unwell, please rearrange your appointment.


This helps protect both myself and other clients.


I maintain strict hygiene standards to ensure a safe and clean environment, including using fresh gloves and protective equipment for every client.
 

Children


This is a home-based salon and, for safety and insurance reasons, children are not allowed to attend appointments.


Gift Vouchers


Gift Iouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.


Personal Belongings


Please take care of your personal items.
I cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged belongings.
